ANTHONY AL-JAMIE
Anthony Al-Jamie is the President of Sister Cities International Southern California Chapter, where he oversees 170 nonprofit sister city relationships, between cities in 50 countries overseas and cities in Southern California. He is an Anaheim City Commissioner and the former Vice-Chair of the Los Angeles-Nagoya Sister City Affiliation. After two decades of working in online education development, where he developed his expertise in higher education online learning platforms and strategies for online program development, Anthony turned his efforts towards the nonprofit sector and initiatives that aligned with his personal values. He originally began his non-profit career in 1994, while living in Asia for 20 years, with Rotary International Club 2570 in Wako City, Japan as the only non-Japanese member. He is currently a member ofRotary International’s We Rotary e-Club District 5000. Anthony has been President of The Academia Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity, since 2003. While pursuing an M.A. degree in Nonprofit Management, he carried out extensive fieldwork with a diverse range of nonprofit organizations, and worked to fulfill the qualifications for the Certified Nonprofit Professional credential. In addition to his studies in nonprofit management, he undertook a Higher Education Teaching certification program through Harvard University with a teaching specialization in nonprofit management. Anthony’s vast experience with fundraising, combined with his quarter century of management and governance experience qualifies him to teach a variety of courses in the nonprofit management sector. His current areas of research interest include system dynamics, nonprofit and strategic management, as well as fundraising and stakeholder engagement.
MICHAEL DENNIS ANTONOVICH
Michael Antonovich is an American politician who was a member of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors. He represented the Fifth District, which covers northern Los Angeles County, including the Antelope Valley, Santa Clarita, Pasadena, and parts of the San Fernando and San Gabriel valleys.
LAPD DEPUTY CHIEF BLAKE CHOW
Deputy Chief Blake Chow was appointed to the Los Angeles Police Department in 1990 after having served as a San Jose Police Reserve Officer. After graduating from the Los Angeles Police Department academy, Deputy Chief Chow rose through the ranks of Police Officer, Sergeant, Lieutenant and Captain after having worked a variety of assignments including Patrol, Vice, Risk Management, Operations Bureau, among others. As a Captain, Chow was assigned commands such as, Central Area, Hollenbeck Area, Real Time Analysis and Critical Response Division (RACR) and LAX Field Services Division.
In December 2009 Chow was promoted to Commander and assigned as the Assistant Commanding Officer, Operations-Central Bureau which has command of Central Area, Rampart Area, Hollenbeck Area, Newton Area and Northeast Area.In October 2010 Commander Chow was transferred as the Assistant Commander Officer Counter-Terrorism and Special Operations Bureau. The Bureau is responsible for the Counter Terrorism programs, Major Crimes Division, Emergency Services Division, Bomb Squad, Hazardous Materials, Metropolitan Division (SWAT, K9, Mounted), Air Support Division and Emergency Operations Division.In March 2019 after tours as the Assistant Commanding Officer, Operations-West Bureau and Commanding Officer, Information Technology Group, Chow was promoted to Deputy Chief, Commanding Officer Transit Services Bureau. Transit Services Bureau provides for security and safety on the Rail and Bus Lines within the City of Los Angeles. Additionally he is responsible for Traffic Group, which provides leadership to the four LAPD Traffic Divisions.Chow has a Bachelors Degree in Business from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo as well as a Masters in Public Administration from Cal State Fullerton.

Mr. Ding has around 20 years of real estate development and investment experience. He has invested in many fields around the world, including real estate, energy, mines, old city renovation projects and other strategic projects.

HONORABLE MATTHEW LIN
As an expert in the field of orthopaedic surgery, Dr. Matthew Lin was the Chief of Staff at Garfield Medical Center (GMC) (1987 and 1990), Chief of Surgery at GMC (1988), and Chairman of Credentialing Committee at Alhambra Hospital (1994). Beyond the medical field, Matthewhas avidly supported social and cultural institutions such as the Boy’s and Girl’s Club of SanGabriel Valley, the YMCA, Boy Scouts, San Marino Rotary Club and also served as Board Director of the following organizations: the San Marino Schools Foundation; San Marino Community Church Foundation; San Francisco Theological Seminary; United Way, the Pasadena Symphony; the Pacific Asia Museum; and Taiwan Center. As a lifelong sports fan, Matthew coached AYSO soccer for five years and taught judo at San Marino High School for the San Marino Recreation Department. He is also an active member of the Los Angeles County Medical Reserve Corp. which prepares for Los Angeles County disaster relief.
In March 2001, Dr. Matthew Lin made history when he became the first Asian American to serve on the San Marino City Council as Mayor. He assisted in raising the funds for completion of the San Marino Crowell Public Library and the Monterey Park Public Library. Dr. Lin has also been a leader in numerous capacities across Southern California. He has served as President of the Los Angeles County Medical Association San Gabriel District and President of the Taiwan Medical Society. He also served on the Board of Directors for Garfield Medical Center, Alhambra Hospital, and on the Los Angeles County Medical Association Political Action Committee for 10 years, from 1990 to 2000. Strongly committed to empowering and educating the next generation of physicians, he has also served on the clinical faculty of the University of Southern California and Western University of Health Sciences.
DR. BING WANG
Dr. Bing Wang, A faculty Co-Chair for Advanced Real Estate Development program at Harvard University GSD. She is Area Head for Master of Design Real Estate and the Built Environment concentration at the GSD. She is also a faculty co-chair for Design, Finance and Leadership program, a joint program between the Harvard GSD and Harvard Business School. She has been a visiting faculty member at the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom and lectures frequently at top-tier universities worldwide, including Tsinghua University in China and University of Ulster in the UK.
Her academic research focuses on the interplays between formal representations of the built environment and its underlying capital forces, social structure and economic engines. She is on the Editorial Boards of the Journal of Sustainable Real Estate, published by the American Real Estate Society, and of the Journal of Planning Theory and Practice, co-published by Routledge and Royal Town Planning Institute of the UK. Her writings and research are published in academic books and journals,
including Planning Ideas and Planning Practices, Professionalism and Professions, Urbanization in China, Regenerating Older Suburbs, Journal of Real Estate Portfolio Management and Urban Land Asia. She is the author of The Architectural Profession of Modern China and co-editor of Prestige Retail: Design and Development and Nexus: Field Studies in Real Estate, Planning, and Design.
Dr. Wang's academic research and pedagogical focus are reinforced by her multi-disciplinary professional practice. She is one of the founding principals of KaiLong REI and YoungYou Investments LLCs, private equity companies based in Shanghai, focusing on investments in real estate industry and equity investments in media production companies respectively.Her design firm has undertaken projects of both architectural and urban scales. Most recent projects include the winning design proposal for the National Library of Israel in Jerusalem, the design of He'nan Public Security Institute Campus in Zhengzhou, a 400-acre communal neighborhood near Dianshan Lake in Shanghai, the value-creation design strategies for Yuyuan shopping mall in central Shanghai, a mixed-use project in Tbilisi, Georgia, and as an advisor for the design of temporary structures for Covent Garden in London.
Dr. Wang was appointed Academic Advisor in Architecture by the China Central Committee Editorial and Translation Bureau Press.

Mr. Pat Yan and Nong Yan founded AA Meat Product Inc. in 1990. The company has become the biggest frozen food wholesaler and storage in the American West Coast. Now well known within the industry, the company has great growth potential. AA Meat Product Inc. distributes beef, pork, chicken and seafood products. Their products have a well established reputation among the Asian community and local supermarkets. Their customer base also include wholesale companies in Europe, Asia and other retail stores worldwide. Mr. Pat Yan and Nong Yan put lots of effort to ensure best food quality to their customers. During his spare time, Pat Yan dedicates him to building the Asian community. His donations to education ad community events have earned him much recognition.
