Operating as a dual-entity, CCCLA combines the strengths of a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization with the Chinese Chamber Cultural Foundation, a 501(c)(3), to provide a comprehensive suite of services and programs aimed at fostering business connections, empowering community leadership, and preserving the rich tapestry of Chinese cultural heritage.

Dear Members and Friends:

As we stand on the threshold of 2024, I extend my heartfelt New Year greetings to each and every one of you.

As we step into a new year, it signifies a fresh start and an opportunity to transform aspirations into reality. Today, I am excited to share a vision—a call to action that transcends mere dreams and is firmly grounded in our present.

Our beloved Chinatown boasts a storied history spanning generations. It has withstood the tests of time and serves as a testament to the enduring spirit of our community. However, as the world around us continues to evolve, it is imperative that we, too, embrace change and growth.

Let's honor our ancestors' sacrifices by rejuvenating Chinatown, making it thrive on a global scale. Our shared goal is to shine as brightly as any other community. I invite our dynamic youth to lead this awakening, uniting our global community. Together, we will celebrate our Chinese heritage, welcoming talents from around the world to create a multicultural tapestry in fashion, cuisine, culture, arts, and more. After decades of preparation, our vision is now a tangible reality. We are poised to redefine Chinatown's destiny. In this era of global uncertainty, our community symbolizes hope, fueled by the upcoming 2028 Olympics.

And speaking of celebrations, I am thrilled to announce the 125th Golden Dragon Lunar New Year Parade on February 17, 2024, in Chinatown from 1:00PM - 4 :00PM. This parade, with its rich history dating back to the early 1900s, continues to be a symbol of unity and tradition. It's a testament to our resilience and commitment to our heritage.

Our youth will lead the way, creating a vibrant community with myriad IPs that breathe new life into this historic city. Let's transform Los Angeles Chinatown into a thriving, civilized international hub, crafting a modern, intelligent, and safe city. I call upon all promising, expectant, and capable individuals and associations worldwide to actively join us on this journey of building our dream - "Birds' Nest Wonderland."

Undoubtedly, Chinese American businesses have played a pivotal role in shaping the future of Los Angeles.
