Chester Chong is the President of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce, and has a history with the Chamber dating back to 1988, when he first joined as a Board member. Over the past 30 years, he has held positions with the Chamber as Board Member (1988-1990), Vice President (1990-2016), Secretary General (2016-2017), and President (2007-2017). He has had a long and successful career across a diverse set of industries, including roles as Chairman of American Magazines & Books Inc. and Chairman of Superspeed Transportation Group, where he is currently still involved. Chester is an exemplary citizen of the Los Angeles community and has served in capacities such as the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, the Civil Air Patrol Captain of Mission Pilot Rescue Team, the American Angel Flight Mission Pilot and the County of Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department as Reserve Commander. He was awarded the Outstanding Business Achievement Award by International Lions Club (1991), recognized as Honorary California Goodwill Ambassador by the California Secretary of State (1991) and received both the prestigious Meritorious Service Award and Exemplary Service Award presented by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (2005 and 2006). He has a diploma of International Cultural Exchange issued by Peking University, China, an Honorary Doctoral Degree of Human Letters issued by the University for Humanistic Studies, San Diego, and an Honorary Doctoral Degree of Business Administration, issued by Armstrong University, California.
Eric Hing is an accomplished sales executive and medical sales specialist with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, and leading dynamic teams. With extensive experience in pharmaceuticals and healthcare, Eric has consistently achieved top sales performance, negotiated large contracts with consumer-driven health plans, and implemented innovative productivity solutions across organizations.
Known for his competitive spirit and creative approach to problem-solving, Eric is committed to going above and beyond to empower others and enhance overall company performance. His ability to foster cross-functional partnerships and streamline operations has earned him multiple accolades, including Top Sales Awards from Benefit Mall and Word and Brown, as well as the Eisai District Human Health Care Award.
Mamie Hong Weinberg is a lifelong resident of Chinatown who attended Castelar Elementary School, Nightingale Junior High, and Belmont High School. During her teenage years, she founded the Blue Heaven Dancers, a Chinese Folk Dance group based in Chinatown. Besides coordinating the performances, Ms. Weinberg was also responsible for choreography and costume design and was a member of the Asian American Ballet Company, and was later invited to join the Hwa Yi Chinese Ethnic Dance Company. Ms. Weinberg attended California State University Los Angeles where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Clothing and Textiles. After graduation, Mamie worked for the Broadway Department Store, and later for the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Mamie is married, and the proud mother of 18-year-old twin girls, one who was the 2013 Little Queen. Mamie’s father and his family owned and operated Hong Kong Low restaurant in Chinatown, also home to the infamous punk and New Wave club, Hong Kong Cafe. Among her father's many altruistic endeavors, he served as the President of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in the 1960s, and Mamie feels honored to continue with that legacy in serving the Chinatown community. Mamie has been committed to volunteer work in Chinatown for decades having been a founding member of the Friends and Alumni of Castelar Elementary School (FACES), Chinatown Resident Representative and 4th President of the Historic Cultural Neighborhood Council, and a Park Advisory Board member for Alpine Recreation Center, and plan to continue with that process.
Christina has always been passionate about blending business with creative expression. Her diverse career spans Fortune 100 companies, the Hollywood entertainment industry, Silicon Valley startups, and educational institutions. She has worked at renowned organizations such as The Wall Street Journal, Lifetime Television, KUSC Public Radio, and more. With extensive experience in communications, sales, PR, and marketing, Christina brings a wealth of expertise to her work.
She is also highly skilled in event planning, having coordinated, led, and performed in over 400 events, including community banquets, conferences, fundraisers, receptions, dance performances, festivals, music concerts, fashion shows, and golf tournaments. These events have ranged from intimate gatherings of 20 to large-scale productions with up to 3,500 attendees.
A lifelong dancer, Christina began dancing at a young age, training in a variety of styles, including traditional Chinese dance, ballet, lyrical, modern, jazz, heels, hip-hop, and K-pop. She has performed at prominent venues such as Disneyland, Segerstrom Center for the Arts, the Hollywood Bowl, MGM Grand Las Vegas, Knott’s Berry Farm, and the Rose Parade.
After becoming a mother, Christina redirected her efforts toward educating Chinese culture and language. Having taught her children Mandarin for many years, she later began teaching others by using techniques such as storytelling, visual imagery, and introducing 'worldbuilding' concepts into her lessons.
Christina holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS from the University of Southern California. A former Miss Los Angeles Chinatown - Queen, she also won Miss Photogenic.
Jeremy Chan is a land-use and environmental attorney, and development project manager representing domestic and international developers and investors throughout the entitlement process from initial diligence to final approval.
While at Mayer Brown LLP and Liner LLP (currently DLA Piper), he assisted clients in understanding local land-use regulations, preparing entitlement applications and materials, ensuring California Environmental Quality Act compliance, performing public outreach, and presenting at public hearings with a focus on developments in Downtown Los Angeles, the Arts District, Hollywood, Koreatown, Mid-Wilshire, and West Los Angeles. He has managed architects, engineers, traffic consultants, environmental scientists, and media relations professionals to facilitate and expedite entitlement approvals for entitling over 75 projects, including high-rise commercial, multi-family, and mixed-use developments; multi-acre commercial projects; small lot subdivisions; hotels; and private schools.
Jeremy holds a JD from Loyola Law School, and a BA from the University of California, Riverside. He is a board member and secretary of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles.
Tom was born at the then French Hospital in Los Angeles Chinatown delivered by the well known Dr Julius Sue. Mr. Eng grew up in Santa Monica and West Los Angeles, while experiencing life in my parents’ Chinese laundry and Chinese food-to-go restaurant.
After graduating from UCLA with a civil engineering degree, Tom worked for Los Angeles County Department of County Engineer-Facilities which later was renamed Public Works.
In 1984, Tom volunteered at the LA Olympics as a course marshal in the women’s and men’s marathon. This inspired me to run the LA Chinatown Firecracker 10K Run and I consequently joined the committee and was race director in 1991. Tom then joined other organizations: Friends of the Chinatown Library, Chinese Historical Society of Southern California, Chinatown Public Safety Association, OCA-Organization of Chinese Americans, MANAA- Media Action Network for Asian Americans, CAM-Chinese American Museum and CACA-Chinese American Citizens Alliance. Some of these he served or is still serving as a board member.
In 1991, Mr. Tom Eng joined the chaperone team for the Miss Los Angeles Chinatown and have continued in that capacity. He has attended the Miss Los Angeles Chinatown Pageant every since since 1984 and helped photographed all the important moments of the Miss LA Chinatown Court’s activities. Tom has also traveled with the Court on twelve goodwill trips.
Over the years, Tom has traveled to various US cities and spent time in Chinatowns in New York City (Manhattan and Queens), Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Washington DC, Chicago, Houston, Seattle, Las Vegas, Honolulu, Oakland, San Francisco as well in Vancouver and Toronto. This gives him insight by comparing them with our Chinatown.
After 40-1/2 years of service with Los Angeles County, Mr. Eng is now retired and currently manages the family properties and attend various events to continue to enrich his life experiences.

Vivian earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California, Riverside, and further strengthened her expertise through certifications from the Society for Human Resource Management and Cornell University’s Strategic Human Resources Leadership program. Beyond her corporate role, she contributes her leadership to the community as a board member of the Korean American Coalition, advocating for empowerment, representation, and opportunity.

Ms. Eliza Tsui has been in the hospitality industry for over 18 years, and currently is a Business Consultant for the Art District Los Angeles Regional Center, with Art District Center LLC . She has been a Board Member of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles since 2002 and leads business development roles for the Chamber among its Chinese constituent members. She also previously served as the Director of Mandarin Club of Hilton Universal City (1998-2004), Director of Catering for Hilton San Gabriel from (2004-2010), and Director of Catering for LA Grand Downtown (2010-2011).
Xiao Qiao Liu Winter is the founder of Global Asian Media & Entertainment (GAME), established in 2022, which brings together top creative talents to produce globally marketable entertainment with a focus on Asian culture. She also founded The Chinawood in 2014, a company that bridges international productions between China and the U.S. Xiao has extensive experience in talent management and media production, having previously worked at Entertainment Creative Interface and South Hollywood Production. She holds a BFA from the Academy of Art University and a business degree from Luzlau, Switzerland.
Ada has dedicated most of her life to serving the Chinese American and local communities. Her unwavering support and involvement in numerous organizations reflect her deep commitment to advancing Chinese American businesses, youth, and the broader community.
Professionally, Ada retired as a Sales Account Manager for Cathay Pacific Airways. She served as President of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce Los Angeles from 2000 to 2004 and as Chairman from 2004 to 2008. She currently holds the honorary title of Chairman Emeritus. Ada is also an active member of the Community Advisory Board of the Asian Youth Center and a Founding Member of the Global Council for the Asian Hall of Fame.
In addition to her leadership roles, Ada volunteers with the USC Arcadia Hospital Foundation for events like the Crystal Ball and Mardi Gras, supports Helping Hands and Church in the Park at Pasadena Nazarene Church, and contributes to the Spiritual Care Guild of L.A. Children’s Hospital.
