Off Their Plate is a grassroots movement that began with a simple idea. We rally around tireless frontline COVID healthcare workers and impacted frontline shift employees. We can do more than stay home. Our work creates a conduit for local communities to provide nutritious meals to the hospital teams we depend on and economic relief to local workers who have been affected by COVID. Together, we can help take one thing Off Their Plate.

USC ARCHITECTURE OPERATION PPE

Alvin Huang, Board Member of Chinese Chamber

USC Architecture Operation PPE, an entirely self-funded volunteer effort of 325+ faculty, students, friends, firms and more who are working around the clock to 3D print personal protective equipment for our medical professionals working on the frontlines of the ongoing pandemic. This effort has gained significant media coverage including the LA Times, CBS News, Curbed LA, KCRW, Built-In, Architectural Digest, Architect, Architect Magazine and more.

We are now officially partnered with USC Keck Medicine, LAC USC, CHLA, MLK Watts, and the Mayor of Los Angeles. So far, we have produced over 2,500+ pseudo N95 masks and 1,500+ protective face shields. Despite our efforts, the current demand in the City of Los Angeles is 15,000 masks per day to keep our healthcare workers safe. If they are not safe, we are not safe.

If you can, it would be greatly appreciated if you could please help support our efforts through a donation of any size to help us with purchasing more supplies and materials. A single $30 spool of filament can produce a dozen masks. All donations and gifts and kind will go exclusively to our efforts and are tax-deductible. Tax receipts are provided.
