The AACA was established in January 2008 by the representatives from the Chinese, Japanese, Korea, and Thai Chambers of Commerce in Southern California to maximize their influence and expand their economic opportunities. AACA is currently composed of Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Singaporean, Vietnamese, Pakistanis, Cambodian, Mongolian, Filipino and Malaysian chambers of commerce of Southern California. Chester Chong, President of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles, is the 2010 Chairman of Asian American Chamber Association.
